That's what musician/songwriter Matt Fitzgibbons believes is the driving force behind the success of our Republic and all free societies.

Since 2005, Fitzgibbons has been writing non-partisan music to inspire people to think about individual liberty and to help spread positive, creative ways to secure our rights. With the release of his first CD "Patriot", and his website PatriotMusic.com, Fitzgibbons has reached thousands of people with his music and message. In 2007 he released his second CD "Patriot 2: A Celebration of Liberty" featuring the U.S. Constitution on the cover with a muddy footprint and a hand wiping it clean. Both CDs won ASCAPlus awards and received excellent reviews nationwide for their melodies, musicianship, lyrics and message. Fitzgibbons has consistently been ahead of the curve with his ideas. He began writing for his project in 2004, long before any musician and few politicians were talking about liberty, the U.S. Constitution or the Bill of Rights. In May of 2012, he released a free, pre-release song called "They Can't Take that Away from You" with a video slideshow emphasizing the importance of rights, protest, and our nations mounting debt, months before the "Occupy Wallstreet" and Tea Party movements. In February of this year, Fitzgibbons released his third CD, called "Entitled". It features an acrylic painting of Uncle Sam in the foreground after having been mugged and beaten up by two figures who are walking away, counting their spoils: a donkey and an elephant.

"The U.S. is more divided now than we have been since our Civil War because we've forgotten the simple, but timeless truths in our Founding Principles. It’s been over 40 years since the public has been involved in creating a Constitutional Amendment and that’s too long. Our system was designed with the hope that every generation would participate. One vote every couple of years is not enough”, he says. Through his website and interviews, Fitzgibbons is spreading the word about the tools people already have to make a difference.

Written, recorded, produced, and published by Fitzgibbons, all three CDs combine unforgettable melodies and modern sounds with the simple, but powerful truths that are as revolutionary today as they were in 1776. On each CD, Fitzgibbons sings and plays guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and harmonica, but has always featured additional musicians.     Ultimate Music Mix is proud to present,” Social Potion”, a wonderful sounding group, when we first heard their song “Stevie” we were floored, Carmen’s voice reminded us  so much of Stevie Nicks, and with those two together it felt like we were listening to a new Captain and Tennille.

    Together they have a great vocal and sound combination that is very enjoyable, you should close your eyes as you listen to Social Potion, and remember the sweet sound as they play, because we wouldn’t be a bit surprised to see that Social Potions music being played a lot on the radio. Take some pleasantly catchy melodies, add heartfelt lyrics and innovative drum beats and the result is Social Potion – a Toronto indie folk pop duo with a very full sound. Social Potion are married couple Carmen Toth and Aaron Jones. She’s on vocals, guitar, keyboard and she writes the songs. He’s on drums and occasionally guitar and keyboard. Their energetic and edgy sound has been compared to Kate Bush, Fiest, The B-52’s, Blue Rodeo, The GoGo’s, Jane Siberry, Tori Amos, Tom Petty, The White Stripes, Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac.

     Steve Scott is an American Country singer, songwriter, record producer and actor; a self-taught naturally gifted musician and performer.

     Steve was originally the lead guitarist of a band that show-cased all over the New York tri-state area. After his earlier musical experiences Steve followed another of his passions, American History, graduating from the University of Arizona. While living in the South West he discovered his real calling: Country Music. As a child, Steve grew up (in large part due to his Mom’s great taste in music) listening to such Country icons as Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, Patsy Klein, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard and Hank Williams just to name a few – in essence, all the music Steve’s Mom so dearly loved strongly influenced who he became as a musician.

     Steve is also a talented and experienced performer; he has acted in various productions around the world from Off Broadway in New York to feature films. He has performed with such names as: Harvey Keitel and David Bowie in the Western “Gunslinger’s Revenge”; and, other well known actors such as: Christopher Walken, Viggo Mortensen, and, the late great Academy Award winner Martin Balsam to name a few.

     In Shinin' Like You Do his solo debut CD, Steve draws influences from a large swath of traditional Americana, demonstrated by a fresh take on a rootsy cover like “Rocky Top” which counters his more contemporary hard driving country pop originals such as “Thoughts on fire" and “Don’t say You’ll Walk Away.” He puts his heart and soul into writing genuine poetic cowboy ballads like “Echoes in My Heart,” “You and I” and "Heart of a Grown Man." Steve’s unique approach in style is revealed through tunes like “Hide & Seek,” that mesh genres such as country, driving pop rock and bluegrass - which he and his band refer to as Blue-Rock-Country!
